John is a pastor who joined The Ridge staff in October of 2017 and currently serves as Video Content Coordinator as part of the communications team.
John grew up in Maple Valley, Washington with three brothers, and he holds a degree in Comparative Religion from the University of Washington. Recently, John moved back to his home state with his wife, Serena, and - thanks to the wonders of technology - he'll remain on staff at The Ridge in a remote position.
What is your favorite part about working at The Ridge?
I love that I get to interact with people with the goal of constantly bringing them hope.
What is your favorite scripture?
Romans 8:28 - And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Do you have a skill or talent that most people don't know about?
I'm really good at trivia and at remembering people's names!
What's an item on your bucket list?
To watch a baseball game in every stadium and to run a marathon in the Redwood Forest.
