“...Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you...

Learn how to reach our Ones better with these six video sessions.
Imagine if every follower of Jesus could name a person who is far from God – a person they are praying for, investing in, and seeking to share about Jesus. We believe God’s people don’t merely need another method for evangelism – what they need is a passion to help people they love find the God who loves them. Don’t have your one yet, that’s ok, see resources below to help you identify your ONE.
As followers of Jesus, we’ve been invited to experience his power through the work of the Holy Spirit in us. The same power that brought Jesus back from the grave is alive in us. As you continue to consider what everyday evangelism looks like in your life, consider this: God has chosen to use you to accomplish his work. Isn’t that an incredible thought? The God who created the universe could accomplish his plans without our help, but he has invited us to be part of it. Furthermore, he has given us his Spirit to enable us to accomplish this work that we could not complete on our own. That’s a powerful invitation!
As you use the tools below to consistently look for ways to help ONE person find the God who loves them, are you trusting in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to guide you?
You probably grew up thinking of the church as something you go to. Like it’s an institution or organization. Like it’s something you either belong to or don’t. Well, think again. You don’t GO to church. You ARE the church. That’s actually the radical implications of what it means for Jesus to be at work in you. He made you the church. That’s exactly what the Apostle Paul was describing when he wrote in 1 Corinthians 12:27. He even took it a step further when he said “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.”
Pretty amazing isn’t it? You probably have a picture in your mind of how much better you need to be for God to use you, but the powerful part of scripture is this: God doesn’t use perfect pictures; he uses broken people.
You are the church. And when all of us do that, well, that’s a glimpse of God’s church at work. So go be the church. Extend the love of Jesus to people you’re scared to love. Be a good neighbor. Be a good friend. Love people. You might be amazed at what God does. BOTTOM LINE: You don’t go to church. You are the church!
Imagine if every follower of Jesus could answer that question with the name of a person who is far from God—a person for whom they’re praying and with whom seeking to share about Jesus. That’s the intention behind Your ONE. We believe God’s people don’t merely need another method for evangelism—what they need is a passion to help the people we love find the God who loves them.
Can you imagine if together we prioritized our personal ownership of our part in Matthew 28:18-19 as we each intentionally and lovingly pursue ONE person with the hope that Jesus offers. Not as projects but out of our love for people and love for God. At times, it seems the mission is simply too complex and too vast for people like us. While we can’t do everything, we can do something. We can personally take responsibility for ONE. And, because of God’s power and the work of His Spirit, each of our ONEs can add up to make a significant impact for God’s kingdom.
If you've met Jesus, you've got a story to share. Stories are about change, and Jesus is all about changing lives. It's easy to get overwhelmed by the idea of sharing your story. Perhaps you've told yourself, "It's not exciting enough," or, "It's too complicated." The truth is, sharing your story is as simple as telling people what God has done for you. That was the approach the apostle Paul used. In Acts 22 and Acts 26, Paul told his story in about 500 words — 2 to 3 minutes at normal speaking pace. With a little preparation, your story can be a powerful way to give God the praise he deserves and to help others draw closer to Him.
