God’s heart is overflowing with compassion for all people, and we see that through Jesus’ time here on earth as He loved in relational and practical ways. Because of His example, we are called to serve others with compassion both here in Milwaukee and around the world.  For more on ways to partner with any of these organizations, email us.

Book Drive with Greenfield Police Dept.
August 19 - 29 | Greenfield Campus

We want to bring the hope of Jesus into every home, and that includes multiple generations of people. The Critical Generation (kids and students) is so important to us, and so when the City of Greenfield's police department asked us to serve this generation, we decided to go all-in and we need your help!

We want to provide 400 new or gently-used books to fill backpacks officers give to kids and students upon arrival during times of crisis to help provide hope, support, and comfort.

To get involved, donate your books at the Next Steps and/or Ridge Kids areas at our Greenfield campus or give to our Amazon Wishlist.

 Guatemala Partner Trip (Informational Meeting)
August 31 | 6:30 - 7:30p
Greenfield Community Room
The Ridge Community Church and Lifeline Ministries are partnering up with Pastor Deybee Berrios to take a mission trip to Guatemala. God made you with unique gifts, passions, and experiences to serve Him as only you can. So, we invite you to explore the possibilities He has for you. A part of this trip is to explore a deeper relationship with God and be a part of changing lives by being very relational with the people in Guatemala.

Sound like something you're interested in? Check out our informational meeting this August where you'll have a chance to learn trip details and ask our team any remaining questions. No sign-ups needed! Learn more about Lifeline in the "Global Compassion" section below.

Habitat for Humanity | Drywall Installation

Saturday, August 21 | 8a - 2p

Located at 3403 N. 3rd Street, Milwaukee, WI 53212

Serve and make a difference in the Washington Heights community by helping Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity install drywall for a tenant's home. Serve as an individual or with your group (up to 6 members)!

Here are some logistics to know:

  • Each person serving will need to "create an account" as a user (or sign in if the system has been used previously) AND register for an event. By having each individual's contact information, it allows Habitat for Humanity to be in contact in case of changes in the day or bad weather.
  • Those serving will receive one email about creating an account. During the registration process volunteers will have the opportunity to receive an email with confirmation materials. A reminder email with the same information is also sent 2 days ahead of time.
  • During the registration process, those serving will have the opportunity to receive an email with confirmation materials. All individuals are required to bring their own lunches or if the group leader provides them, they must be individually packaged and not served “buffet” style. Habitat for Humanity asks that folks not share food and stay socially distanced during all breaks.
  • Please email any questions about signing up to Habitat for Humanity's coordinator, Beth, here.

Global Compassion

Stadia’s mission is to plant churches that intentionally care for children. Why? Because as more churches close their doors, fewer people are experiencing the life-changing hope of Jesus. Stadia prepares leaders to start healthy churches that intentionally reach the next generation of believers, spreading the hope of Jesus farther than ever before. And we won’t stop until every child has a church.

CURRENT PARTNERSHIP | Pastor José Adán Castillo and his wife Dayanara Castillo planted Inglesia Evangelica De Santidad Ajuterique in the countryside of Ajuterique Honduras. Pastor Jose and Dayanara have been married for 6 years and have a son named Mateo. José came to faith 12 years ago and was saved from a life of multiple addictions. He had a complete change in his life and from there has committed himself to ministry and reaching others with the good news he himself received. He feels a special call towards children, youth, and marriages.

Jenni's Serving Story

Purchasing a pair of boots for someone was just the beginning. Sometimes we're called to serve beyond the walls of a church, and for Jenni, God used her need to serve others in Milwaukee in a very special way.
