City on a Hill
Located in central Milwaukee City on a Hill provides us with the opportunity of going on a mission trip in our own backyard. Opportunities to serve include health clinics, family night support, after school programs, and special holiday events.
The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army focuses on four main things: to feed clothe, comfort, and to care. They offer many areas they help in and a variety of ways to donate: financially, giving need items, and by getting involved in volunteering time.
The Hunger Task Force
Activities with The Hunger Task Force include preparing new plants in the greenhouse, planting and harvesting fresh produce, fish hatchery work, and more! Over 778,000 pounds were harvested in 2014 and all of the produce grown at The Farm is distributed free of charge to local families in need.
